As long as stupid people uncritically and unthinkingly accept and parrot stupidity, the stupidity will increase without bound. This is so egregiously incomprehensible under normal circumstances, and yet the closed-mindedness, the ignorance, the ‘normalcy bias’ all prevent true understanding. Most people will never realize that they are — and how they are — being attacked.
