The absurd implication that waves of any size or force perfectly bend steel (SS Edmund Fitzgerald) at 90 degrees without causing any cracks or fracturing mocks persons gulligble enough to believe such nonsense and dulled beyond wonder. Massive waves often pummel off-shore oil rigs without causing any damage anything akin to the peculiar (and seemingly “impossible”) DEW damage inflicted upon the SS Edmund Fitzgerald.
