INSTA-BOILED CREW

The crew was likely all internally insta-boiled by the intense microwave energy burst(s) — greying their eyes into rapid blindness via insta-cataracts (as described by Melissa Doi and Kevin Cosgrove), scrambling their brains’ chemistries, dulling their senses (akin to Melissa Doi), and (if not boiled internally immediately) ultimately inflaming their mucous membranes into asphyxiation (identical to how rats are killed with microwave radiation).
